out with the funny people again... playing piano with Steve Martin and Martin Short on the semi-ongoing "AN EVENING YOU'LL FORGET" tour.

also just finished recording some additional songs for the Nikka Costa w/ Strings record-- sounds really freaking great and I'm proud of what we've done.  

also working on a new FX tv show from "Louie"'s Pamela Adlon.  a really heavy GOOD show with music by Jay Gruska.

gearing up for the Emmys again this year with Steve Jordan and the orchestra with host, my compadre Jimmy Kimmel!  can't imagine how that won't be good times.

also, very excitingly-- look for our new project BAND OF OTHER BROTHERS w/ Jeff Coffin, Keith Carlock, Will Lee & Nir Felder out on Ear Up Records in October.  engineered by Niko Bolas...

It's been a while folks... sorry!!  thankfully it's been busy...

new string arrangements for Beverley Knight, a fantastic English artist for her Memphis project "Soulsville".  glad we could do this with producer Justin Stanley here at TudorTones with the Songa Lee strings...!

also with Justin a VERY special project that's been bubbling since November 2015-- we just cut 12 songs at Henson for Nikka Costa w/ Strings.  I did all the arrangements and played on it with Shawn Davis, Sean Hurley, and Aaron Redfield, and the legendary Bob Clearmountain at the engineer's desk.  what a treat.  Nikka singing all the songs live with the strings and band... just an incredible experience.

Sock Belt will be back at the Blue Whale August 5th w/ Zach Danziger and Hagar Ben Ari with Josh Johnson and Davey Chegwidden.  the first experience was pretty ridic.

I'll also be at the Whale with the wonderful LA jazz drummer Dan Schnelle on June 24th.  

Remember Crow Nuts on vinyl available on this website and on the iTunes-y kind of places too.  we had a super fun Record Store Day at the world famous Record Parlour in Hollywood in April that was very successful...
