update!

hello people of the world wide web!

so...

NAMM week is coming up here... two exciting gigs here in LA, both at the Blue Whale in Little Tokyo... first is the debut live performance of BAND OF OTHER BROTHERS, with Nir Felder (gtr), Will Lee (bs), Keith Carlock (ds), and Jeff Coffin (ww) on WEDNESDAY 1/18, and then a few days later, on Saturday 1/21, I'll be w/ Mark Guiliana's Beat Music LA on a double bill with Zach Danziger/Owen Biddle's EDIT BUNKER.  Quite a week of music-- and at the Blue Whale you're not inundated with slapping of Foderas and wailing of Jacksons.

Speaking of BAND OF OTHER BROTHERS, our first album, "City Of Cranes" is getting spins on lots of jazz and college radio staions nationwide.  Thanks to:

KVNF: Panoia, CO/KCCK: Cedar Rapids, IA/KRTU: San Antonio, TX for adding our record this week, in addition to:

CFUV: Victoria, BC/KCSB: Santa Barbara, CA/KEUL: Girdwood, AK/WDPS: Dayton, OH/ WDPS: Dayton, OH/WMSE: Milwaukee, WI/WTJU: Charlottesville, VA as well as all the other stations that have been spinning us since December.  We appreciate it!

keep an eye out for dates w/ Steve Martin & Martin Short this year, along with some dates w/ James Taylor.  will list as they are released!

best,

jb
